Transparent PNG

This tutorial is to make your PSP images transparent and still keep their quality. This only works for images that will not be animated. Once you have your image designed with a transparent background like the following picture...

Follow this next picture and goto File / Export / PNG Optimizer...

A screen will pop up that looks like the next picture below... It should be on the "Colors" tab... Choose the spot where it says "16.7 Million Colors (24 bit)" like so...

Then click on the "Transparency" tab and set the settings as follows in the picture below...

Then click "OK" after you do that it will take you to a screen that looks like this next picture... choose where you want it saved and a file name and make sure it is set on PNG for the file type and then hit save!

You now have a transparent image with no lowering in resolution and no ugly white background. Here is my exported .png!!
